Just as most of the country's car shows and gatherings in the rest of the country are ending, the scene in the Phoenix area is just hitting full stride. This was my first C&C. I had no idea that there would be so many spectacular cars or that they would be so varied in vintage and origin.
I took over 400 photos. I was more interested in documentation than artistry. Check the backgrounds for more. I just couldn't shoot every car. There were some very cool looking motorcycles so I took few pictures of them in case there was something special.

The photos of the man in the Jaguar hat is Norman Dewis. Yes, the man who set the land speed record in 1953 in a modified Jaguar XK120. I had never seen a C-Type or a D-Type, but both were there.

Thought about going but had father and son stuff planned this morning. I'll have to hit the next one at the Penske museum. Saw an LS swapped Genesis tonight tho at another meet so that was interesting.

Just went thru your other pics and it is indeed an outstanding mixture!
